A Collaborative Approach

The Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affairs is dedicated to strengthening the connection between Idaho’s government and its vibrant Hispanic community. Through long-standing strategic partnerships with state and local agencies, educational institutions, businesses, healthcare professionals, and community-based organizations, we work collaboratively to advance our shared priorities.  Together, we strive to contribute to a stronger and more prosperous Idaho.

Our priorities focus on the following five key areas:

We support active participation in efforts to improve communities through civic education, voter engagement and turnout, and volunteerism.

  • Engage with statewide elected officials to ensure issues and opportunities are considered in the decision-making process.
  • Support programs that prepare individuals for public service and other leadership roles in their communities.
  • Advise on programs and partners who educate on voter engagement, registration, turnout.
